DukaanWala POS allows you to manage your business operations. Depending on the features you use, the information stored in the Service may include:

• Orders and sales records

• Customer information
• Customer Khata / Udhar records
• Expenses
• Table and dine-in information
• Staff account and performance information
• Cash drawer and shift information
• Reports and business performance information

1.3 Device Information

We may collect basic technical information about the device and application environment when necessary for security, troubleshooting, maintenance, and improving the reliability of the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through DukaanWala POS for purposes including:

• Creating and managing your account
• Providing POS and billing functionality
• Processing and maintaining your business records
• Generating sales, expense, and business reports
• Providing subscription and plan features
• Managing staff accounts and permissions
• Providing customer Khata / Udhar functionality
• Supporting table and dine-in management
• Providing cash drawer and shift management
• Sending requested business summaries and notifications
• Maintaining application security
• Detecting and preventing misuse or fraudulent activity
• Improving the performance and reliability of the Service
• Providing customer support

3. Bluetooth / Nearby Devices

DukaanWala POS may require Bluetooth or Nearby Devices permission when you choose to connect the application to compatible thermal printers or other supported devices.

This permission is used to establish communication with the selected device and send printing commands such as bills and receipts.

4. WhatsApp Daily Summary

DukaanWala POS may provide functionality that allows you to share or send business summaries through WhatsApp or other communication applications.

Such communication is initiated by you through the available functionality of the App. We do not use WhatsApp to independently access your personal conversations or contacts.

5. Payment Information

DukaanWala POS offers paid subscription plans. Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers such as Razorpay.

Payment card, UPI, banking, or other sensitive payment credentials are processed by the applicable payment provider and are not stored by DukaanWala POS unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We may receive limited transaction-related information, such as payment status, transaction reference, plan purchased, and subscription status, for the purpose of activating and managing your subscription.

6. Subscription Plans

DukaanWala POS provides the following plans:

• Starter: Free plan with up to 100 bills per month.
• PRO Monthly: ₹299 per month, inclusive of applicable GST.
• PRO Annual: ₹2,499 per year, inclusive of applicable GST.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or business data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may disclose information only when reasonably necessary:

• To provide and operate the Service
• To process payments and subscriptions
• To protect the security and integrity of the Service
• To prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes
• When necessary to protect our legal rights

8. Third-Party Services

DukaanWala POS may use trusted third-party service providers when required to operate specific functionality, such as payment processing, hosting, infrastructure, or communication services.

Such providers may process information only to the extent necessary to provide their respective services and are subject to their own applicable privacy policies and terms.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account and business information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your account, we will process the deletion of your associated account information and business data in accordance with our data retention practices and applicable legal requirements.

11. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your DukaanWala POS account through the available account deletion functionality or by contacting us.

Once an account deletion request is processed, associated information will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably possible, except where certain information must be retained to comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, security, or fraud-prevention requirements.

12. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the ability to:

• Access information associated with your account
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account
• Ask questions about how your information is handled

13. Children's Privacy

DukaanWala POS is a business-oriented software service and is not intended for children under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
